Introduction to Systematic Reviews in Health
- virtual course delivered over two mornings via Zoom software
- interactive systematic review course including practical exercises with a focus on effectiveness reviews
- ideal for anyone with an understanding of health and related research
- participants receive a full PDF course pack
- the principles can be applied to other disciplines (e.g. education, environmental sciences, social sciences)
The course includes:
- what is a systematic review?
- scoping the research question & writing a protocol
- literature searching
- inclusion/exclusion screening
- data extraction & critical appraisal
- data synthesis
- this course will not cover realist synthesis or qualitative analysis
