Boldrewood’s modern, open-plan buildings feature plenty of individual work spaces and shared rooms for group work.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Laboratory

With a 3D printer, machining workshop, electronics workstation and a hot-wire cutter, this lab space is perfect for designing and building airframes.

National Infrastructure Laboratory

Our UKCRIC National Infrastructure Laboratory houses 5 engineering laboratories including a large structures testing laboratory and a geotechnical centrifuge.

Testing and Structures Research Laboratory

This research facility has machines capable of testing a wide range of materials across the loading scales, length scales, temperature scales and strain rates.

Towing Tank

This 138-metre long facility is the largest university towing tank in the UK and one of the largest in Europe.

MBA suite

This is an exclusive state-of-the-art learning suite for the MBA, based in Building175 on Boldrewood Innovation Campus. The MBA suite includes a classroom, a kitchen, a relaxation area, and a self-study space. It's used for teaching, private and group study, and social activities.

Food and drink

B175 Cafe

Hot or cold food and drinks are available 5 days a week. There is space to enjoy your own food and the cafe has a terrace facing the adjoining gardens.

Arts and entertainment

There are no arts and entertainment facilities on the Boldrewood Campus site. Our main Highfield Campus, with its cinema and concert hall, is just a 5 minute walk away.

Sport and leisure

There are no sport and leisure facilities on the Boldrewood Campus site. Our main Highfield Campus, with its sports centre, swimming pool, gym and bouldering wall is just a 5 minute walk away.
