Our research addresses how systems thinking and approaches can ensure the delivery of desired societal and business outcomes. We strive to make positive change and contribute to a resilient and sustainable future for generations to come.

Part of Business

In a world of significant uncertainty, organisations cannot carry on operating in a ‘business as usual’ manner. We are cultivating innovative solutions to complex challenges, focussing on critical infrastructure, energy, transportation, disaster response and AI safety. We are conducting interdisciplinary research that identifies vulnerabilities within interconnected systems and pioneers novel strategies and technologies to fortify these networks against diverse threats. Through collaboration, co-creation, education, and the dissemination of knowledge, our Centre aims to be a global leader in shaping resilient, adaptive, and sustainable solutions, ensuring the continued functionality and security of critical infrastructure in an ever-changing world.

My research has focused on the development of novel risk models that consider the technical system and its interaction with human and organisation factors.
