Knowledge Exchange
As part of a research-intensive university, we are committed to sharing our research and knowledge for the benefit of all.
We work with partners to generate and share ideas, skills, and experiences for impactful change in the world.
We invite organisations, charities, civic communities and businesses to discuss potential collaborative projects. Projects can involve specialist colleagues and/or our talented students.
Public and community engagement
Join our established networks of community partners. Share ideas, initiatives and collaborate on exciting public-facing projects.
Current and recent collaborative projects have involved the Trinity Arts Group in Winchester and the Tate Modern. We also have a long-standing partnership with Winchester’s Hat Fair.
Research partnerships
As an art school in a Russell Group university, research underpins our creative projects and partnerships.
Examples of ongoing research include:
- exploring new technologies to improve older shoppers’ experiences of supermarkets
- developing wearable technologies for medical treatment
- mapping the regional digital creative sector to facilitate new networks and partnerships
We are always happy to discuss collaborations and projects with businesses and community groups.
