Qianqian Li joined the Dynamics Group of Institute of Sound and Vibration Research in 2025 as a research fellow purposely recruited for the HORIZON EUROPE project QuieterRail.
He warmly welcomes all proposals for research in railway engineering from both within and outside the university community.

Qianqian Li has studied Mechanical Engineering and obtained his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in the field. He participated a double degree project PoliTong and holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Tongji University, Shanghai, China, and Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. Furthering his studies, he obtained dual Master of Science degrees from Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy where he was admitted in a double degree project Alta Scuola Politecnica. He then completed his PhD at Politecnico di Milano, carrying out research in railway engineering and track modelling.
