About
I am a lecturer (assistant professor) in the Centre for Research on Self and Identity. i am the director of the Social Neuroscience Laboratory I use neuroscientific techniques (primarily EEG) to study motivation, emotion, and the self. Much of my current research focuses on understanding the neural processes underlying representational (i.e., how is self-relevant information stored?), executive (i.e., self-regulation, valuation, learning), and reflective (i.e., depictions of the self in interactions with others) aspects of the self.
