Current research
In general, I combine theoretical and experimental tools to (i) understand people's preferences and behaviour in settings where individual welfare, freedom, fairness and/or democracy are central, and to (ii) study the properties of institutions that have the potential to promote these goals.
Recent and current research focus on topics such as voting behaviour/rules, collective deliberation, freedom of choice/opportunity/decision rights, distributive preferences, behavioural proxies of welfare, and nudges/boosts.
