Current research
Currently Yasmin is researching the impact of COVID-19 on consumers, and how consumption patterns continue to evolve as a result of the pandemic. Yasmin continues to publish in these areas, including journal articles and book chapters, most recently writing on fashion consumption amongst children, as well researching on the future of retail.
Yasmin is member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, working closely with relevant professional bodies. Yasmin continues to supervise PhD students investigating several topics, from consumption, luxury, luxury fashion and cross-cultural studies.
