Check your offer

You should check through your offer carefully as some programmes may need you to complete additional conditions, such as sending in documentation or an occupational health assessment for our professional courses.

Types of offers

Offers are typically:

Conditional: the offer is subject to you meeting the requirements specified in your offer.

This could be:

• an academic condition, such as passing exams or providing proof of your qualifications
• a non-academic condition, such as completing an occupational health assessment for our professional courses
• an English language requirement, if English is not your first language

Unconditional: you've already achieved, and provided evidence of, the necessary conditions to meet our entry requirements.

Offers with the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ): if you have taken an EPQ, you may receive an offer showing what you need to achieve with and without the EPQ grade.

Contextual offers: After we've considered your application against our contextual criteria, we may make you an offer that's lower than the typical offer for a course. We’ll email you if this applies to you.

On-Campus visit days and virtual visit opportunities

After we've made you an offer, we’ll invite you to an on-campus visit day and a virtual visit opportunity. You’ll be able to: 

• learn more about your course and the modules, meet your lecturers, and find out where you’ll study 
• chat to students to find out about student life and what it’s like to live and study here 
• find out more about our campuses, sports facilities, the library, accommodation options, and student support services
