Project overview
The UK Data Service is a service funded by the Economic and Social Research Council which provides trusted access and training to use the UK's largest collection of economic, social and population data for research and teaching.
David Martin is one of the deputy directors of the service, and brings a wealth of knowledge about UK census and geographical data, having worked closely with the Office for National Statistics for many years and having previously served as Coordinator of the ESRC Census Programme. He has particular responsibility for UK Data Service relationships with major stakeholders, such as the UK statistical organisations and other key ESRC investments, and for the oversight of Census Support.
