About
Agnieszka is a Lecturer in Management Science in the Department of Decision Analytics and Risk at Southampton Business School, University of Southampton, where she leads the MANG1047 Management Analysis module. In addition to this role, she is an Affiliated Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences at Södertörn University in Stockholm, Sweden. Agnieszka also serves as a co-Editor-in-Chief for the Environmental Development journal. Her work has been published in Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, among other journals.

Current research
Agnieszka’s current research focuses on the transition toward a low-carbon society with a focus on sustainable and equitable transportation systems, in particular shared mobility. Most recently, she is exploring how to facilitate systemic changes within settlements and travel patterns to achieve climate targets using operational research techniques.

Agnieszka teaches on the undergraduate and postgraduate modules, including MANG1047 Management Analysis, MANG1019 Foundations of Business Analytics, MANG1043 Predictive Analytics I: Regression and combinatorial techniques, and MANG6314 Integrated Logistics.
Biography
Agnieszka joined the University in September 2024. Before joining the University, she worked as a Research Fellow at the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering, Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. She holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering, MA in Architecture, and BA in Architecture and Urban Planning.
