Aerodynamics and aeroacoustics of oscillating airfoil/wing, drone/propeller noise, compressor surge prediction
Dr. Teng Zhou graduated in 2013 in Mechanical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology. In 2015 and 2020, he received his MSc and Ph.D. degrees from Delft University of Technology and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, respectively. Since 2020, he had worked in Chinese Academy of Sciences as research fellow for three years. In 2023, he came to the University of Southampton to join the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, where he has been a member of the Acoustics group. Dr. Zhou's principal research activities involve the aerodynamic and aeroacoustic characteristics of ocillating airfoil/wing, noise emission from drone/propeller, surge prediction of compressor using noise signal, etc.
