Caceoglu obtained his Bachelor's (in Civil Engineering) and Master's (in Geotechnics) degrees from Middle East Technical University, Turkey in 2020 and 2023, respectively.
Currently, his PhD research in University of Southampton forms part of the activities of the Centre of Excellence for Intelligent & Resilient Ocean Engineering. The research is supported by INSPIRE DTP, which is a collaboration between University of Southampton and National Oceanography Centre (NOC).
Currently, he is supervised by Benjamin Cerfontaine (School of Engineering), and co-supervised by Susan Gourvenec (School of Engineering) and Ismael Himar Falcon-Suarez (NOC).
