Current research
Yizhen's current research lies in the domains of employee well-being, workplace political correctness, behaviour and emotions at work.
Yizhen's research includes improving the psychological well-being of employees at work, and how to improve the experiences of employees through various topics. She is also interested in phenomenon-related research topics like political correctness, humour etc.

Teaching
Yizhen is currently teaching introduction to organisational behaviour and HR-related topics at the university. Specifically, the modules she teach includes MANG1003 Introduction to Management, and other forthcoming MSc modules on People and Organisation, and Learning Management through Arts and Films.
Biography
Yizhen completed her PhD in Management at the National University of Singapore, with her dissertation in workplace political correctness and effects on employee behaviour. The rationale behind her research pipeline stems from closing the research-practitioner gap, with the ultimate goal of enhancing employees' psychological well-being.
