About
Erin is a Research Fellow in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on harnessing the power of earth observation data to initiate innovative solutions to understand the global environment, shaping the future of agriculture to assure food security.
Her research not limited to use both optical and microwave remote sensing to monitor crop health, yield forecasting, identifying the phenology of crop to optimise the crop management especially in nitrogen use efficiency.
A key component of her studies is the development of a space and time replication solution based on quantitative analysis which includes statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms at large scale earth monitoring.
