- Design of estimation and control techniques, with convergence guarantees, for finite and infinite-dimensional systems
- Robust predictive modelling and analysis of high-dimensional data (e.g., network, time-series, imaging)
- The cross-over between artificial intelligence and mathematics for interpretable and robust computational algorithmic designs
- Applications include, but not limited to, biomedical systems (e.g., oncology, cardiovascular system) and automotive/robotic systems
Current research
Dr. Belkhatir's research interests are currently focused on the design of estimation and control techniques with convergence guarantees for nonlinear systems, along with robust predictive modelling and computational algorithmic design for high-dimensional data. In addition, she works on the application of these topics to various biomedical and physical systems. She has worked and collaborated with an international interdisciplinary research and clinical teams and has experience in designing and implementing theoretical and computational techniques for a number of biomedical application (oncology, hemodynamic response in the brain and cardiovascular system).
