About
I am a maritime archaeologist and postgraduate researcher with the Department of Archaeology at the University of Southampton. My research aims to assess the impacts of coastal change on Lebanese maritime archaeology, through a geomorphological and hydrodynamic characterisation of the Lebanese coast.
More broadly, my research interests are interdisciplinary, with a focus on the Eastern Mediterranean as a study area. My background is in archaeology, but my work engages heavily in the coastal sciences, and employs geoarchaeological and digital approaches. I am passionate above all else in contributing to the field of maritime archaeology in my home country, Lebanon, and see an interdisciplinary approach as beneficial towards that goal.
