Katherine Theobald Postgraduate research student in the Dynamics research group and Transport research group at the University of Southampton, Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
Katherine is currently studying for a PhD researching the effects of vibration on medical products transported by drone. She was the 2023 winner of the University of Southampton 3 Minute Thesis Grand Final and a 3MT National Grand Finalist.
She completed her undergraduate degree, MEng (1st Class Hons) Civil Engineering, in 2016 at the University of Southampton.
She has 6 years’ experience as a Senior Highway and Infrastructure Engineer for an international design consultancy and her experience varies from commercial and residential development to infrastructure projects on a national scale.
She is a chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
