Lucy is a Commonwealth Scholar and is an academic and health researcher with a Public Health background. She lectures in Health and safety and biological and health sciences at a public University in Malawi. She has conducted research in the fields of public health and education with a special focus on areas such as non-communicable diseases, health and safety and University financing among others. She has been a Consultant with both local and international organisations through conducting programme evaluations such as UNDP, National Aids Commission and World Child Cancer to mention a few. She was awarded a Public Policy catapult fellowship in 2023 by the Public Policy University of Southampton in conjunction with the Southampton City Council for a project on children in the care system. Lucy is passionate about supporting young children and adults across age ranges of 3-24 into making outstanding developmental and educational progress.
