My work focuses on examining the impact of gender norms on state building. My research spans from 1919 to 2022, exploring how evolving gender norms have influenced political, social, and economic developments in Afghanistan. Through this historical lens, I aim to highlight the crucial role that gender dynamics play in the stability and progress of the state. My goal is to advocate for the empowerment and rights of Afghan women, contributing to a more inclusive and equitable future for my country.
