Francesca is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Innovation in Mental Health, funded by the ESRC South Coast DTP. Francesca also trained as a Clinical Psychologist in Italy.

Current research
Francesca's PhD project focuses on the identification of risk factors for the development of anxiety disorders and on preventive interventions for both children and adults.

Francesca works as a Postgraduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Psychology, facilitating seminar delivery, demonstrating, marking and completing administrative work.
Biography
Francesca competed her BSc in Cognitive Psychology and Psychobiology and her MSc in Clinical Psychology at the University of Padova (Italy).
She previously worked at the Applied Memory Lab, University of Birmingham (UK) and at the Forensic Neuropsychology Lab, University of Padova (Italy). She completed her clinical training at the Psychiatric Unit and Affective Disorder Clinic at Azienda Ospedaliera di Padova (Italy).
