In 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. in astronomy from Institut Teknologi Bandung (Indonesia), where he performed research on the binary stellar clusters in the Milky Way and Magellanic Clouds. In 2014, he joined the Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) and had been involved in several projects, including the development of a new astronomical observatory in West Timor. These opportunities contribute to the establishment of his skills in data analysis and machine learning, including the one incorporating remote sensing data. Since 2021, he has been involved in several research projects at the University of Southampton.
