Biography
Eimear Cleary is a spatial epidemiologist with research interests in examining how ecology and human mobility shape the transmission dynamics of infectious diseases. She received a BSc in Microbiology (2007) from the National University of Ireland, Galway, A MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (2011) from University College Cork and completed her PhD examining novel epidemiological tools to inform malaria control and elimination in Melanesia at The Australian National University (2020). As a WorldPop Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, Eimear is examining the seasonality of Covid-19 transmission.
