Mr David Tatnell is from London, England and is a Teaching Fellow in Graphic Arts within Winchester School of Art at the University of Southampton.
David is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and trained as an artist and educator at University of the Arts London, obtaining an MA in Digital Arts from Camberwell College of Arts and an MA in Academic Practice in Art Design and Communication from the Teaching and Learning Exchange. Before joining Winchester School of Art as Teaching Fellow in 2020, David taught for 10 years in various roles at University of the Arts London (Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion, Camberwell College of Arts). Prior to working full-time in Higher Education, he held various roles in the creative industries, most notably as Director of Photography at XYZ Magazine Brighton, working on all aspects of magazine production and working directly with international music acts including De La Soul, White Lies, Athlete, Vampire Weekend, Architects and Cold War Kids.
