PK Senyo is a Professor of FinTech and Information Systems in the Department of Decision Analytics and Risk and the Associate Dean for Research at Southampton Business School. PK has a strong interest in applied and impactful research that focuses on how technologies such as AI, digital platforms, and FinTech shape the transformation, provision, and effective delivery of digital services with broader implications for individuals, organisations, and society.
PK's research has been published in leading journals such as Information Systems Journal, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, British Journal of Management, Technovation, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Information Technology & People, Government Information Quarterly, and the International Journal of Production Research among others as well as prestigious conferences such as Academy of Management, International Conference on Information Systems, and the European Conference on Information Systems. PK also serves as Senior Editor for the European Journal of Information Systems, and Information Technology & People journal. He also serves as Associate Editor and track chair for international conferences.
He has obtained over £1 million in research income from councils such as Innovate UK, and ESRC, and through consultancy for private and public sector organisations. PK regularly consults and provides expert advice on digital technology projects for national and international organisations. He has previously worked with organisations such as the UK's Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the World Bank, and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
