Emily teaches mainly on the Secondary English PGCE Programme. As Associate Programme Director for the Secondary PGCE, she also oversees the Secondary Professional Themes curriculum for all UL/SUPA trainees and organises the annual Health Conference for all Primary and Secondary trainees. Her interests are centred around English and Drama Teaching at Secondary level, widening paricipation and maximising progress for all and curriculum design.
Emily is currently studying for an MSc in Teacher Education at Oxford University; she is also the link governor for English at a large secondary school. In addition to this, she is an examiner for A Level and GCSE in English Literature and Theatre Studies.
