Anastasia’s current research focuses on developing understanding on how collaboration between professionals, parents and children with complex additional support needs can support the social and educational inclusion of these children in mainstream primary schools in Scotland. The study seeks to understand the complex phenomenon of multidisciplinary collaboration through case studies in which parents, professionals and children with complex additional support needs are the main participants. The data generation process is based on the principles of the Critical Communicative Methodology approach through the use of observations, online semi-structured interviews and online focus group discussions.
