Dr Panagiotis (Panos) Giannarakis is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics within the School of Economic, Social and Political Sciences (ESPS) at the University of Southampton. He is the Undergraduate Year 1 Senior Tutor, the Coordinator of all PGT Programs in Economics and the Programme Lead of M.Sc. Economics, M.Sc. Finance & Economics and M.Sc. Finance & Econometrics (2022-Present). Since 2019, he is a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy. He is an applied economist and his research interests lie in the field of economics of education, empirical labour economics and applied macroeconomics and microeconomics.
