Biography
Eirini Bazaki, PhD is an Academic, Brand Consultant and Author in Fashion Marketing Management at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton.
Eirini is a graduate of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, holds a PhD in Marketing from Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, an MSc in Management Research from the University of Glasgow, an MSc Degree in Marketing Management from Aston University and a BSc (Hons) in Sociology from the department of Social Sciences, Panteion University.
Eirini research interests lie in fashion & luxury marketing, branding and e-tailing. Her research work is published in leading academic books and international journals.
Eirini actively advises brands on how to build a strong brand identity, connect with customers and drive sales through digital channels.
In 2022 Eirini won the Southampton Institute for Arts and Humanities HEIF Research Stimulus Fund. Project title: Student Employability through the Company: An Enterprise Project.
In 2021 Eirini received the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Teaching Innovation.
In 2019 Eirini won a Teaching Development Grant from the Centre for Higher Education Practice (CHEP) Project theme: The Inclusive Teacher
Eirini has held a number of positions with the organisation i.e., School Education Champion (WSA) MA Coordinator for MA Fashion Management, MA Fashion Marketing and Branding and MA Luxury Brand Management, Curriculum Advisor (CHEP), PG Optional Modules Coordinator, Module Leader and Line Manger.
Eirini is co-founder and co-director of the Company@WSA, Principal Brand Consultant at Linzi Wann and holds a number of external examining positions at UK Universities.
