About

Professor Stephen Theriault is a homotopy theorist. He began research studying the homotopy theory around spheres and Moore spaces and this remains a keen interest.

Stephen's research has evolved over time to also consider how homotopy theory can be applied to inform on properties of objects that arise in various areas of mathematics, such as Lie groups, gauge groups, manifolds and polyhedral products.
