About
Julie is a Research Trial Manager in the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education in the Faculty of Medicine. She joined the University of Southampton in 2010 as a research trial assistant, whilst running her own counselling CBT and TA business. Since then, she has managed many primary care research studies.
Julie is currently the Trial Manager for an NIHR funded study – Acne Care Online, a feasibility and full-scale RCT aiming to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of an online behavioural intervention aimed at supporting self-management, improving outcomes and reducing antibiotic use in acne.
