Prior to his retirement in 2024 Steve Daley was Professor of Industrial Active Control at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research and Director of the BAE Systems Centre for Research in Active Control (CRAC). He is currently Emeritus Professor and continues to support ISVR research activity in the areas of Signal Processing and Control Systems Technology.
He continues to act as a consultant for a range of industries and is Managing Director of the University of Southampton spin-out company Clantect Ltd - www.clantect.com . ClanTect design, manufacture and supply highly accurate human presence detection systems that are used worldwide by Border Force Agencies, Prisons and Critical Infrastructure sites.
