About
Dr Judith Joseph is a Senior Research Enterprise Fellow within the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology.
Judith's research focusses on developing digital interventions using the Person-Based Approach, a methodology that combines PPI and stakeholder co-production with mixed methods to create and optimise interventions to make them engaging, accessible, motivating and effective. She has extensive experience in developing digital interventions to support individuals to self-manage their health and improve their wellbeing. Judith is particularly interested in impact and the widespread implementation of digital health interventions through healthcare and community services.
Judith is Deputy Director of the LifeGuide research programme, a multidisciplinary project (Psychology, Electronics and Computer Science, and Medicine) which has attracted funding of over £80 million from NIHR, UK research councils and medical charities for the development of digital healthcare interventions.
