Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:
- Appraise the evidence base to develop and justify and apply creative and responsive client centred interventions applied to example case studies.
- Select, justify and evaluate assessment methods appropriate to the allocated case studies and demonstrate competence in their practical use.
- Confidently implement and manage self-directed learning and critically reflect on learning opportunities within the module in preparation for application to other modules and placements at level 5.
- Recognise and understand the changing role of OT within the contexts of current health, social care, private and voluntary settings and discuss implications in practice.
- Identify sensitive and relevant evaluation methods in order to chart progress and review outcomes of OT intervention in order to create realistic future plans.
- Demonstrate an understanding and use of risk assessment and risk management applied to interventions for a range of service users.
