Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:
- Demonstrate skills in managing conflict in children’s health services with regard to physical and mental wellbeing of self, colleagues, children and their carers.
- Critically discuss the nature of contemporary challenges and conflicts facing a children’s nurse.
- To identify and critically evaluate the skills values and attitudes required to effectively deliver palliative and end of life care.
- Critically discuss the skills required to effectively to manage care for children and their carers as they move between healthcare settings and services.
- Critically discuss evidence for nursing practices in children’s palliative and end of life care.
