• Exercise excellent musical control of your instrument(s) (including dynamic range, colour range, shape and structure, and phrasing).
• Exercise excellent technical control of your instrument(s) (facility, pitch range, flexibility, tone control, muscular coordination).
• Structure practice effectively, both with respect to individual sessions and larger timescales.
