Module overview

This module is a core component of the MBA curriculum. It is designed to equip future business leaders with the skills and insights necessary to navigate and lead within complex organizational environments and to deal with grand challenges, or wicked problems. In today’s interconnected world, leaders must not only manage their teams and resources effectively but also understand and influence the broader systems in which their organizations operate. This module introduces executives to systems thinking, a holistic approach that considers the interrelationships between various components of an organization, including its people, processes, and external environment, as well as outside the organization. By understanding these dynamics, executives will learn how to identify leverage points for change, anticipate unintended consequences, and drive sustainable success. In addition, the module focuses on the impact of multiple stakeholder groups on business performance. These external contexts will be researched, evaluated and analysed in order to generate an understanding of their impact on global businesses.
