This module will help you develop creative media skills and understand ways in which media is used in different social, cultural and political contexts. This will be underpinned by an awareness of contemporary contexts and the socio-cultural implications of your work. The course will include practical workshops alongside critical understanding of media practice choices.

You will be encouraged to develop your media practice in areas including:

• Creative and digital writing
• Photography and image work
• Sound and video work
• Space capture and 3d modelling
