Syllabus
•encompassing the full range of knowledge and skills associated with contemporary art practice in an exhibited outcome, an installation, a single exhibit, or a presentation of multiple exhibits
•issues of presentation and audience as crucial considerations
•experimentation as a vital part of the work
•The continued development of your ideas, through tests and reflection, informing a project proposal, further discussion and reflection, and eventual realisation of the project
Learning and Teaching
Teaching and learning methods
•Briefings, tutorials, group crits, workshop inductions and self-directed studio-practice
•Work in progress and outcomes are discussed individually with tutors, and in group crits and project reviews.
•Learning opportunities include lectures on practice from visiting artists, studio (peer-group) discussion and self-evaluation and leading your own Degree Show setup.
