This BSc Accounting and Taxation degree will provide you with a thorough working knowledge of accounting and taxation in the context of social science.

You'll learn how to prepare and interpret financial and managerial information, and gain a rich understanding of taxation theory and practice. You'll have opportunities to apply practical skills including:

• financial and managerial accounting
• tax calculations
• report generation
• analytical interpretation

Course leader

Nouha Saber is the course leader.

With a BSc in Accounting and Taxation, you'll be prepared for a career across a range of private, public and third-sector organisations, including roles in:

• tax authorities
• the NHS or other healthcare providers
• local government
• pensions

Alternatively, you might decide to start your own businesses, take further professional training with a graduate scheme or take a postgraduate course with us.

Fees for a year's study:

We'll aim to process your application within 2 to 6 weeks, but this will depend on when it is submitted. Applications submitted in January, particularly near to the UCAS equal consideration deadline, might take substantially longer to be processed due to the high volume received at that time.
