Research project

UK-Italy Trustworthy AI Visiting Researcher Programme

Project overview

The Alan Turing Institute 2023

We are interested in studying algorithmic methods for large-scale stochastic optimization models that form the building blocks of several modern artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Such models are typically computationally challenging to solve and in our proposal we seek the use of approximations. This work was initiated by funding from The Alan Turing Institute. Currently, we have a student whom we are jointly supervising for his thesis.
