Research project

Jellyfish Exchange

Project overview

This project will develop and share best practice in jellyfish husbandry for public aquaria through a partnership between UoS and the UK's professional body for zoos and aquaria. We propose a training workshop at NOCS and jellyfish collection campaign in the Solent for aquarists, and a UoS student placement scheme in a public aquarium, as a programme to engage practitioners with new insights from our research and provide KE experience for our students and technical staff.
