Project overview
Acknowledging the cultural and value dimensions of this transformation is pivotal to unlocking the full potential of Agriculture 4.0. This research makes a timely response to important current socioeconomic issues. Building on the investigators’ and the collaborators’ experience and expertise, this project will employ a qualitative case approach. We seek to address knowledge gaps in digital transformation in international agriculture supply, as well as endeavour to apply a theoretical framework to facilitate knowledge transfer.
The results of this research have the potential to inform policies, strategies, and initiatives aimed at promoting locally embedded, culturally sensitive innovation and providing valuable insights into the dynamic relationship between culture, technology, and the future of the agricultural sector in Latin America. Companies and communities will benefit from addressing challenges related to the integration of new technologies and understanding how they are affected by these innovations.
