About

Weijia He is a Lecturer at the University of Southampton, starting in August 2024. Her research interests mainly cover human-centered security and privacy issues in ubiquitous computing systems, aiming to bridge the gap between existing security systems and real-world users' challenges. She has published at conferences such as USENIX Security, EuroS&P, IMWUT (UbiComp), ICSE, and CHI. She served as a PC member for S&P (Oakland), CCS, PETS, and more. She was also named a 2022 Siebel Scholar. Before joining the University of Southampton, she was a postdoc at Dartmouth College. She holds degrees from the University of Chicago (Ph.D. and MS in Computer Science), under the advice of Professor Blase Ur, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (BEng in Cybersecurity).
