Professor Kasia Zdunczyk is Deputy Head of School (Education) at Southampton Business School. She leads on the School’s education strategy, the academic development and delivery of its portfolio of undergraduate and post-graduate programmes, and the continuous enhancement of student experience in all its aspects.
Kasia’s research explores questions of power, knowledge, and change in institutional fields. It is informed by practice theory, drawing primarily on the work of Pierre Bourdieu. A significant strand of her research focuses on the study of business schools and higher education with a view to informing strategy and policymaking.
Kasia specialises in teaching MBA and DBA executives and her teaching expertise lies in the areas of Strategy, Organisation Studies, and Consulting. She applies research-led, immersive, and practice-based approaches to create modules engaging with societal issues, internationalisation, and business practice.
