Dr Vigneswaran is currently an NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Interventional Radiology, researching the use of machine learning in Oesophageal Cancer in Professor Tim Underwood’s laboratory at The Department of Cancer Sciences. He is also working on a number of Interventional Radiology projects under Dr Sachin Modi, an Interventional Radiology Consultant at University Hospital Southampton.
Dr Vigneswaran's current research interests include machine learning and predictive markers of survival, specifically within interventional oncological radiological therapies. He has published several well-cited research articles and has presented at numerous national and international meetings. His work has received additional grant funding from the Academy of Medical Sciences and Institute for Life Sciences.
