Current research
David's research interests are broadly related to innovation management, and his current research includes innovation process studies such as 'why agile works', the use of Agile in the public sector, a study on Agile Project Management, and an evaluation of customer insight methods in R&D. He has also recently studied some more conceptual problems such as the suitability of innovation process models and the meaning of innovation failure.

David's current teaching includes innovation management, digital business, and entrepreneurship for MSc, BSc and MBA students as well as executives.

Biography
David joined the University of Southampton in 2014.
He previously held the position of Lecturer at Cranfield School of Management.
