About
Professor Douglas Ross received his PhD in 1972 under the supervision of J.C.Taylor.
He then held post-doctoral positoiins at Imperial College, Rijksuniversiteit Utrecht, CERN and CalTech, before coming to Southampton in 1980.
He obtained a personal chair in 1994 and was elected to the Followship of the Royal Society in 2005.
