Dr Bronagh Walsh is an Associate Professor within Health Sciences, University of Southampton and is Doctoral Programmes Director for Health Sciences. Bronagh’s research expertise is in using routine data to explore use and outcomes of health care in older people, with a particular focus on hospital admissions and frailty.
Rising health and social care service use and poor health outcomes among older people remain a challenge for health services across the world; we need to create health care systems and workforce that can respond to the needs of our ageing populations.
