• Develop a range of communication skills which use new technologies and pedagogies in education, to articulate clear arguments and opinions
• Understand the main theories and concepts surrounding various new technologies and pedagogies in education
• Reflect on the use of new technologies and pedagogies in education in your own practice
• Critically analyse new technologies and pedagogies in education in a systematic way.

The content of the module will typically cover:

• The emergence of and definitions/theories of new technologies and pedagogies in education
• Ways specific new technologies and pedagogies in education have been used
• Empirical literature and critiques of new technologies and pedagogies in education
• Approaches to creating learning resources using new technologies and pedagogies in education
• Ways of creating inclusive, equitable, and quality education through digital tools.
